These tasty little sliders served on butter lettuce instead of buns make a terrific gluten-free snack or meal.


1 lb of ground turkey

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 tsp of Applewood Rub Grillmates by McCormick

4-6 leaves of butter lettuce

1 ripe avocado – sliced or mashed, and lightly salted


In a bowl, mix the turkey with the seasonings. Then hand form 4- 6 burgers, depending on how big you’d like your sliders.

In a skillet over medium heat, grill the burgers on one side for 3-5 minutes, then flip to cook on the other side. Cook thoroughly.

Remove from heat and set on butter leaves. Garnish with avocado and serve.
