You have to win in your HEAD before you can WIN in LIFE.

One of the biggest MYTHS I see people believe is that if their circumstances are DIFFERENT, then they will finally achieve the outcome they desire.

๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผThey blame OTHERS for their failures, mistakes and circumstances. They can't own their mistakes. It's always someone or something else. ๐Ÿ™„

I see it more often in business, but also in relationships.

๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผWhen you give away your power by blaming others, you also give away the very opportunity to GROW in your own life. It may feel easier to do short term, but is more damaging to your growth in the long run.

Why?

You stay a victim and you will stay POWERLESS.๐Ÿ˜ž

Feeling powerless will keep you STUCK and ANGRY.๐Ÿ˜ก

And you take that internal angry victim mentality right along with you to the next business or relationship. The people and platform may change, but YOU haven't. ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿผ
You and your SAME issues will eventually, resurface when the honeymoon is over.

๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก Surrounding yourself with others also stuck in that same powerless anger doesn't validate yours nor does it justify you.

๐ŸŒŸYOU validate, you.๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŒนGuess what- there will always be stuff that happens in life. We are always being given opportunities to mature. We ALL have insecure thoughts that get in our head, and we all have triggers that can make us defensive.

๐Ÿค” It's how well you can take ownership in them and GROW from them that will ultimately determine your happiness, mental freedom and long term quality of life.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

๐ŸŒทThe grass is not only greener where you water it, but it also flourishes with the quality of fertilizer you FEED it. ๐ŸŒน

Toxic Co-Workers Gotta Go

Toxic work coworkers

ย

Iโ€™ve spent the past 3 days here in San Diego with a business mentor. We agreed that of the biggest distractions we make when trying to have more success in business is to hang around with the wrong kind of people. Especially in the work space, co-workers can be self-absorbed, catty, have ulterior motives, be manipulative and in general, a big fat distraction to you when on your path to achieving your goals. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป

Then while on my flight home Iโ€™m sitting next to this lovely woman whoโ€™s interviewing tomorrow for a job. She shared sheโ€™s looking to change her career, mainly because of, โ€œher crappy work environmentโ€.
Iโ€™m like, funny you should say that... I was JUST HAVING that very conversation about the kind of people we sometimes have to deal with at work.

It got me to thinking, in our social world, we can choose our circles, but when the people in your work life are crappy, it takes a bit more strategy to stay focused and on course for your goals.

By not giving your energy to those assholes in your work place and staying focused, youโ€™ll free up some space and energy in your day to for the right people. Even if you are a self employed entrepreneur, youโ€™ll want to select to work only with the people that lift you higher, want you to succeed and that proudly have your back โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
