Shakeology Smoothie Recipes

Get ready to open your box (or bag) of Shakeology and join the rest of us raving fans! We compiled our best tips and recipes to help you find your favorite flavors right away!

 

 
How to make it!

First things first: How to make it! 

Fill up the scoop that came in your bag to the top (or empty an entire packet) into at least 8 oz. of liquid (the unanimous favorite is almond milk or coconut milk, feel free to use what you like). I don’t like mine with just 8 ounces of liquid, it tastes too thick to me. So I use at least 16 ounces before ice (which you'll see reflected in these recipes!) I want mine to be big and filling and something to enjoy! Play around with your ratios till you find your perfect balance! 

Make substitutions as you need. If you prefer soy or a non-nut milk, make the switch. You can always omit the milks and use just water as well.

Very infrequently, if your diet has been, how should we say this, not super clean (aka, you've been eating tons of junk), your first few smoothies might make your tummy feel a bit rumbly. That is because of ALL the superfoods, vitamins, and most importantly, probiotics in these smoothies. If that happens to you, know that it is nothing to worry about. We recommend going down to 3/4 or 1/2 scoop for a few days to let your body adjust to all the goodness! 

 

 
Team Shake or Team Blend

Are you a SHAKER or a BLENDER?

The world seems to be divided into two ShakeO camps. Each with very strong opinions on the best way to drink it: the shakers, and the blenders. I prefer blended, which is why most times when you see photos of mine, my smoothie looks like a milkshake. When I do shake it up with just liquid and ice I really only like vegan chocolate mixed with water or almond milk and ice. But try it yourself and see what side you fall on!

You can shake it up in a shaker cup (make sure you have one that has something inside to break up any clumps, clumps are gross!) and add ice. 
Or you can blend it into a smoothie with ice in your blender. 

The recipes in this gallery are written for blended smoothies but you could adapt them for shaken ones as well.

 

 
Old Faithful

The universal favorite recipe for chocolate shakeology. It's like your favorite blanket, always delicious to snuggle up with!

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 banana 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
PB Cup

Everyone's favorite. The often imitated, never duplicated, Peanut Butter Cup ShakeO Smoothie! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
2 T. peanut butter 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Snickers Bar

When you want all the decadence but none of the sugar crash after, this tastes just like the beloved candy! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
1 dash sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
1 tsp pure caramel extract
1 drop almond extract (or 2 tsp. slivered almonds)
1 T. peanut butter

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Pumpkin Spice Latte

Where my #basic betties at??? 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Cafe Latte Shakeology
1T. organic pumpkin puree
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
dash cinnamon

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Gingerbread

Tis the season! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Coco Island Bliss

When you kinda wanna feel like you're on vacation, but you've kinda got #goals too! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
1/2 banana (diced and frozen)
1 T. coconut flakes

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

Fall lovers rejoice! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1 dash sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
1 tsp pure caramel extract
½ cup unsweetened applesauce

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Strawberry Mango Cloud Cream

If you follow @beckarobinson on Instagram, you've probably seen her delicious soft-serve looking creations that she calls "cloud cream". Here's a favorite go-to for a tropical fruity treat! 

RECIPE: 
1 c. canned coconut milk
1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 c. frozen mangos
1/2 c. frozen strawberries
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology

Start with just the coconut milk, frozen blueberries, shakeology and ice, and start blending. Slowly add in the almond milk until you get to soft serve consistency. You might not need a full cup.

 

 
Miami Vice

Anyone had one of these on vacation? They are like a mix between a strawberry daquari and a pina colada. Well now you've got a healthy version to indulge in!

RECIPE: 
1/2 c. canned coconut milk
1/2 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 scoop Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology
1 c. frozen pineapple 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Snickerdoodle

Snickerdoodles were my FAVORITE cookie as a kid! The cinnamon sugar and vanilla with a hint of tang... so good! Here's a great smoothie version I know you'll love! 

RECIPE:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1 T. almond butter
2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Chai Latte

Craving that warm and sweet spiced flavor we all love? Try this spiced chai smoothie out! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup brewed chai tea (cooled)
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. honey 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Faux Frosty

I don't know how it's possible, but this tastes exactly like a Wendy's Frosty. Try it yourself! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1 small banana
1 T cocoa powder

Nutella Latte

Ciao bella! Any nutella lovers out there? You'll love this one! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Cafe Latte Shakeology
1 T. cocoa powder
2 T. chopped raw hazelnuts

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Venti Mocha

Swap your Starbucks habit for a Superfoods habit and you'll actually be saving money (and your health) each month! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Cafe Latte Shakeology
a dash of cinnamon

Blend until frappaccino consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Candy Cane

Santa says, you deserve it! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Mint Choc Chip

The childhood favorite of ice cream parlor's everywhere...

 RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1 cup fresh baby spinach
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1 T. chocolate chips (I like dairy free or carob!)

Blend until milkshake consistency waiting to add the chocolate chips until the very end and enjoy right away!

 

 
Thin Mint

Knock Knock! Just your friendly neighborhood guilt-free favorite! You're welcome! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
3/4 tsp. mint extract

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Dole Whip Nice Cream

I knew after tasting Dole Whip at Disney that I HAD to figure out how to copy it at home. Did you know Dole Whip is actually vegan? But it's loaded with fake stuff and corn syrup so here's a copycat that fooled even my most discriminating husband! This makes enough to share, but you probably won't want to. 

RECIPE: 
1 can full fat coconut milk
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1-2 bananas, diced and frozen
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
(ice)

Blend in a high powered blender or a food processor adding in small amounts of liquid at a time starting with the coconut milk until soft serve consistency and enjoy right away! If you need more liquid, add the almond milk (you might not use it all). If you need it thicker add some ice.

 

 
Pumpkin Pie

If you're all about Autumn, you're going to LOVE this one! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 cup. organic pumpkin puree
1/2 tablesppon maple syrup
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Purple Cloud Cream

If you follow @beckarobinson on Instagram, you've probably seen her delicious soft-serve looking creations that she calls "cloud cream". Here's a simple recipe for a pretty purple version loaded with antioxidants!

RECIPE: 
1 c. canned coconut milk
1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 c. frozen blueberries
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
Top with some cocowhip for extra fun!

Unicorn Smoothie

Impress your kids with this colorful and yummy treat, or just treat yoself! Enjoy! 

RECIPE: 
1/2 c. canned coconut milk
1/2 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 banana (diced and frozen)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
EITHER: 1/8 scoop power greens or 1 cup baby fresh baby spinach (for the pretty green color and lots of hidden nutrients!)
Top with color sprinkles and some cocowhip for extra fun! 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Rise and Shine

Got Greenberry? Try this tried-and-true greenberry favorite recipe! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology
1/2 banana, diced and frozen

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Derby Pie

Any Southerners know about Derby Pie? It's like pecan pie but with chocolate chips mixed in! My great grandma had a killer recipe. And now, you have a healthy hack that tastes just as delicious! 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla 2almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Chocolate Shakeology
1 T. coarsely chopped raw pecans
½ tsp. pure caramel extract

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Pina Colada

A favorite, creamy, dreamy, recipe that won't leave you hungover the next day if you over-indulge. 

RECIPE: 
1/2 c. canned coconut milk
1/2 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water

1 c. frozen pineapple

Matcha Greenberry

RECIPE: 
1 cup coconut water
1/8 c. canned coconut milk
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology
1/2 banana, diced and frozen
1/2 c. frozen pineapple
1/2 tsp. matcha green tea powder

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away!

 

 
Key Lime Pie

Channel Jimmy Buffet and escape with this tangy and creamy treat... 

RECIPE: 
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup water
1 cup ice (or more if you like it thick!)
1 scoop Vegan or Regular Vanilla Shakeology
1 T. coconut flakes
2 T. lime juice
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 

Blend until milkshake consistency and enjoy right away! You could even crumble some graham cracker crumbs on top for a bit extra.
