Sometimes i think its so easy to look at a top coach/ the leaders in this page like Lindsay MatwayMiguel CarrascoSeay Eyles Stanford,Kim FitzpatrickJamie Fitzpatrick OR on another team and say...WELL its so easy for them , they have a huge following OR think that we didnt start at the same place as everyone and FRANKLY use it as a cop out to not keep going !

THIS is one of my VERY FIRST posts from when I started three years ago a couple weeks ago and i was posting up a STORM , with little traction, virtually no friends, living away from anyone i ever knew but i kept going , i held the vision, i followed the training :-) 

I posted BADDDD, wrong photos, poor wording , pictures of just my shakeology bag , people sad no, I word vommited all over people, I did everything I tell you guys not to do and i LEARNED by FAILURE and trail and error and I KEPT SHOWING UP everyday , without fail kept the vision in my head.

EVERYONE started from SCRATCH! including me! the only difference is TIME and CONSISTENCY!

THE KEY HERE IS I JUST STARTED. I didnt compare , I didnt get sad because not alot of people were responding , i thought THIS is part of the journey and if i want to succeed I have to keep going. SOOO many people fail because they just give up for no other reason than their own HEAD! MAKES ME SO MAD! if i had a nickel for every failed post, message, picture, invite, person quitting and i let it stop me , no one would even be in this team page!!!!!

IT’s NOT ABOUT BEING THE BEST or knowing everything its about FREAKING STARTING AND KEEP GOING. everyone started from somewhere.

Our gym has roughly 11,000 members, many of whom need a PLAN when it comes to their workouts and nutrition. I'm hopeful the On Demand Zone will help many of them and prove itself worth it in the coming months. I promise to keep everyone posted as it unfolds. In the meantime, here's a few common Qs I've received from many different coaches (and friends and fellow gym owners):

1. Am I afraid people will quit my gym and choose to work out at home when they get a taste of Beachbody? No. Many either don't have the space or preference for gym equipment at home OR they enjoy the motivating environment and community bonds that are formed in the gym (but it would be nice if corporate immediately stopped all messaging that makes comparisons to gym memberships in their ads and messages...it's time to move past this).

2. Am I concerned our personal trainers will get upset with our On Demand Zone? A few will. But they'll quickly learn to accept it with the knowledge and understanding that thousands of members who need a PLAN can't afford personal training AND that Beachbody workouts are great ones for trainers to "prescribe" to their clients when they can't get to the gym OR when their clients don't want to pay for training every time they work out. Thank goodness for online "coaching" that will enable them to expand their tool box and ability to help clients even more, including new potential clients beyond the 4 walls of their gym. They will be able to grow their incomes and professional careers (as Vito La Fata and Trina Gray are well aware).

3. Will it boost awareness of nutrition planning and Shakeology in the gym? Absolutely. In fact, we're now building a new nutrition office in the gym for one-on-one consultations with members using the Portion Fix Eating Plan as our official nutrition platform. Ultimate Reset, 3-Day Refresh, and the Performance Line will also be woven into the equation when appropriate.

4. Will Shakeology sales in our gym continue to increase? For sure. Between ready-made Shakeology shakes sold at our shake bar and bags sold via retail, we're currently going through 40 to 50 bags per month. It would be fantastic if corporate considered an infrastucture that allowed for gym owners to buy Shakeology in bulk for the purpose of making shakes at their juice bars. Perhaps 5 gallon drums of Shakeology wiith a small cost break??

OPPORTUNITY to Consider: Imagine the amount of potential growth that would unfold for corporate and the entire coach network if there was a new division of Beachbody or at least a "health club coach advisory board" that focused on health clubs and appropriate messages/marketing that could successfully penetrate thousands more of them. Imagine would it would do to the demand for Beachbody Live formats in gyms. Imagine would it would do for your business volume and the volume of the entire coach network if thousands of gyms came on board during the next 5 years. Imagine the new levels of success that could be realized by Beachbody, with roughly 55 million people in the U.S. (17% of the population) currently belonging to their local gym or fitness center. And most importantly, imagine how many more people we'd be HELPING. Beachbody would have to build another Shakeology factory (or two) in the U.S. and Canada alone. :-)

Network Marketers: Unethical, Ruthless & Half Shady

We’ve all fallen for the FILTERS.

We compare our marriages.
We compare our children.
We compare our looks.
🛑 But THIS is about filters used when we are told compare our company.

.
Yes- this rant is LONG. ⏰
This post has been a few years coming and it’s not picking on one person specifically. It is in regards to the growing Network marketing industry of distributors as a whole. Many of which feel its good business practice to bash & blame others.🔨🔨
.
.
Maybe I've listened to too much Gary V this week, but I'm fired up over so much smoke and mirror crap that makes the rest of us look bad.😡
.
.
↗️ Network marketing is on the rise, and that’s a really promising thing as it can be an effective way to start a business & earn income without all the stress and expenses of a traditional business. 
↘️ But like ANY industry there can be some not so great workers, core values & business practices. 
.
.
👇🏼The remainder of this post is for those ambitious people looking to start a network marketing business. 👉🏼If you are already are one, then it could be an opportunity to level up and improve our industry practices. As someone that’s been a respected, successful and seasoned leader in the industry for 7 years, I will cut through the crap and share what good practice and companies look like.💙

1️⃣ SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS: Just as every brand new car rolls out of production shiny and sexy, new business launches & promises can appear the same. Expect a lot of hype, marketing and incentive to get excitement and productivity. 💥
.
.
However... will that company road test and hold up through challenges like creating a new and constant pipeline of innovative products for you and do they have the corporate experience in place to launch them successfully? 
Will they survive supply & production deficits? 
Can they persevere economy & market fluctuations, changes in political leaders & government & state policy changes? 
.
.
That all lies ahead. It’s why the majority of companies crumble after the first few years. 〽️
.
.
You want to look for proven sustainability through all these challenges. Are you willing to take that risk with an unproven venture and start all over again if it proves to be like the majority of new businesses that go under after a few years?
.
.
❓Remember MonaVie?
❓Remember Visalus? 
❓Remember Direct Cellars? 
.

Has Beachbody suffered some of these bumps and dents along the way? Oh hell yes. All businesses do and will. If someone paints a picture that their shiny new business is the answer to everything MLM ….you are in for a bumpy & risky ride ahead. 
.
My advice is go with a company that’s sustained at least SOME of the above challenges, is proven road worthy and has shown it is capable of surviving several tides. 🌊
.
.
This morning I had someone message me that "I should look into their business because Beachbody went through a valley in 2016/17 and theirs was new, easier and more “promising”." 🙄
The rest was scripted, like so many others, I barely skimmed it. BTW- I can't stand those "Hey girl" copy/paste impersonal scripts.
.
.
💡--> Asking anyone already in the industry to jump ship will only capture you low lying temporary fruit. 
.
.
If my kids wanted to quit anything because it was hard I'd say “Stick it out. What can YOU do to make it better if it's important to you?” 
There’s refining that happens when you are challenged to level up instead of give up. If you don’t you’ll take your same bullshit to your next “promising” new pony show. 🐴
💡I don’t want fairweather kids, friends or business partners.

👉🏼Nor should you. 
.
.
I don't ask people to be, nor do I want to go find that kind of mentality of person for my own business. 
.
.
I am not a “jump ship” shiny object kind of business leader, nor would I suggest you join a leader that is. 
🤔 In the back of my mind I’d wonder, “If we become biz partners are you going to jump ship on THIS biz when times get tough (because they will get tough) and move on?” 
.
The best companies and people in history were built better through the tough times. 
.
.
💣Truth Bomb: If there’s still a ton of brand new success & growth happening in the organization, the problem wasn't the with company.
.
.
It’s was with THEM.
.
.
2️⃣ BIZ KNOWLEDGE: If someone is going to pitch you, or post about their business and how it compares, they need to understand wtf they are even talking about. Understanding the FTC regulations and their own corporate comp plan is a good place to start. 
.
.
💸 When one says “all my efforts made my upline rich” when in reality they & their team were barely producing ANY volume or couldn’t even hold a first tier rank for years shows that he/she knows nothing about how a binary comp plan even works. 
.

📆 Or, if they say “Get in early” then that’s also a sign they have zero knowledge of how a legit, sustainable MLM operates because regardless of when you join, you still have to GROW your business, to earn.
.
.
The claims look foolish and false...and for the business savvy people that KNOW BETTER, it’s embarrassing to the industry to see on social. Distributors that don’t understand the difference from a front loaded pyramid scheme to a long sustainable direct sales comp plan, will put filters on their financial promises to you.
.
.
My advice is to invest your time and efforts in what has shown to be harder, but sustainable. ➡️
.
.
3️⃣ MINDSET MATTERS: When someone bashes and is the VICTIM blaming their lack of growth on something other than THEMSELVES, 100% of the time they will struggle to succeed. Why? Because they haven’t really owned their habits. They aren’t honest with themselves or you and instead put on a pretty filter and present themselves as they WANT YOU to view them. 
.

4️⃣ BEHAVIORS: Six reasons I’ve seen why people don’t thrive and grow in this industry:

- They think they worked hard, but really didn’t. (Hustle is subjective by the way. Hustle to one person may look more like a coma for another)

- They didn’t hustle consistently because he/she easily / often distracted by struggle, life, fun or drama.

- They spent time on the wrong behaviors thinking it was “work”. (I've been totally guilty of this one at times over the years, and my numbers showed for it)

- They were not an ongoing “student of their business” evolving and changing with the times. Especially when it came to marketing.

- They built a gossipy shallow sorority, not a volume producing professional business.

- Lastly, they wanted EASY. I’ve yet to read a business book anywhere that says financial success or growing a business is easy. They all say you bust your ass and reinvent yourself. Over and over again. In the words of Gary V…”I WANT what’s tedious and hard because I know very FEW people are willing to do it.”
.
.
So how would one HIDE their real day to day behaviors to you? They put a filter on it. The filter comes in blame and bullshit excuses. Don't fall for the illusion. Look for real ownership.
.

💣 The irony is that when they put a filter on it, they are going to ATTRACT THE VERY PEOPLE to their business that delight in their validation & excuses. 
👉🏼And their excuses, will eventually become their teams excuses. Mark my word. 
👉🏼And saying they don’t want to work that hard, will attract people that will agree with them 100% because...they won’t want to either. Mark my word.

5️⃣ CLASS MATTERS: Are they bashing one business or person to sell theirs? 
They shouldn’t have to if they have something great to offer. Why aren’t they busy talking about THAT?? 
.
.
🇬🇧 As my British husband would say, “Don't look like a twat”.
.
.
🕺🏻Positively sell YOU...and let the market decide for themselves if they want what you have to offer. 
.
.
I share this filter-less and raw image of network marketing because I do believe Network Marketing is the best financial, low cost model out there, especially for the self driven Type A person. 🥇
.

😣But with so many emerging, bashing one another, seemingly weekly, these marketing smoke and mirrors and promises are being laid on thick. I get hit up weekly by a pitch and see so much garbage on social it’s embarrassing to this business. I finally had to say SOMETHING. ⭐️Because badass companies and classy distributors ACTUALLY DO EXIST.

💎I want you to know what to look for behind the curtain both in a quality company and sponsor. In addition to my own business & business partners, I have my favorite list of other sustainable companies and successful distributors I’m happy to share if you are looking for both a real and quality business opportunity.

This industry already has such a negative stigma to break through. Can we please not make it harder on ourselves?🤐

Now how about we use our business to BLESS people's lives instead of making us all look like novice business assholes? 🤪
