Craving Comfort Food? There's nothing better than Chicken Noodle soup when you want something warm and comforting. This recipe certainly fits the bill. It's easy and quick. (recipe adapted from love grows wild)

Chicken Noodle Soup

• 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter • 1 cup sliced carrots • ½ cup sliced celery • ½ cup diced onion • 8 cups chicken broth • 2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts, • 3 cups noodles • ½ teaspoon basil • ½ teaspoon oregano • Salt and pepper to taste • ¼ teaspoon minced garlic

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic, carrots, celery, and onion; cook until just tender, about 5 minutes. Add the chicken broth, shredded chicken, noodles, basil, oregano, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes before serving. Check salt and pepper taste add more if need be.
