Do you, or have you ever, worn the Corporate America “Golden Handcuffs”? Rarely is “quality of life” yours to have. You are “stuck” making incredible money and cant walk away from your established lifestyle and career.
My personal story is about me "letting go" of all my financial security, not being in search of it. I’ve always been a leader and very ambitious, but I had to find a more flexible
platform to channel my success. To have little money and give it up is one thing, but to have A LOT and still give it up....is another. I walked away from a six figure job, a free company car, and great health insurance. I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was the primary provider for our family. Leaving all the security was foolish of me to most outsiders, but, I could’t physically go another day feeling this “depleted” and not having autonomy or time. Life is too short and time is too precious. What’s your personal drive in life? What MOTIVATES you to get up everyday? What’s your personal, “WHY”?
