Delicious Apple Crisp!
This apple crisp recipe has to be one of the best warm desserts there is. It's healthy, sweet, and indulgent.
You will need: 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced 2 tbsp pure maple syrup- divided 1 tsp cinnamon- divided 1/2 cup old fashion quick oats 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup golden raisins
In a medium bowl, combine the apples, raisins, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Pour into a 8x8 baking dish and set aside. In a small mixing bowl, mix the walnuts, oats, remaining syrup and cinnamon. Pour over the apples. Bake in a 375 oven for 20-30 minutes, until apples are tender.
Serve warm by itself or with a small scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt. Enjoy!
